A big part of growing up in my family we always had game night. My dad was a game lover which sadly drifted to me. I love games because they allow you to actually talk to whoever you’re playing with and not stuck on a phone like most people are now a days.
Many board games seem obsolete now a days, but back in the day we had games like Life, Snakes and Ladders and Operation.
In operation the goal was to remove the organs and bones from the patient without hitting the metal.
Snakes and Ladders was a game that could literally go either way.
If your counter lands at the bottom of a ladder, you can move up to the top of the ladder. If your counter lands on the head of a snake, you must slide down to the bottom of the snake.
The game life is exactly what you may think it is. It involves you choosing your path whether going to college or straight to work.
All these games were part of my childhood and I love playing them today.
